Lots of pieces to the puzzle, like what you said about getting the match on employer plan and emergency savings. Mortgage question depends on interest rate and whether you would stay or sell at retirement. IRA has potential for growth, while return on mortgage prepayment is fixed.

2.62% interest ; selling eventually to move closer to my daughter when she has children, but I do have about $65k in equity in my home . I’ve got a fidelity account, just waiting on investing Bc of the craziness. Just opened it last year.
